As part of Vapore d’Estate, Fabbrica del Vapore and Viafarini present ROUND TRIP - FLUIDUM 2 a collective exhibition project curated by Stefano Comensoli_Nicolò Colciago (Spazienne Milano) and Elisabeth Sonneck (super bien! Berlin).

ROUND TRIP is a project in progress of connection and exchange between spaces for independent art projects in Milan and Berlin, which takes shape from an idea of Spazienne (Milan) and Elisabeth Sonneck (super bien! Berlin). It is a journey of encounter that intends to make visible the value of the diversity of approaches to artistic work, research and exchange and, above all, the irreplaceable role that independent spaces play in experimental artistic development and the broadening of public debate.

ROUND TRIP is active in order to contribute to the international networking of exchange between the research created and conveyed by artistic spaces and the people who make them up. It was born fluid and with the will to be able to decline and expand, in order to respect the same values of which it is the bearer.

FLUIDUM recounts all the stories that led to the start of this journey: a word of Latin origin, which manages to bridge Italian and German, which tells of the ability to adapt, shape and accommodate.
A collective fluid that unites different attitudes and modes united by freedom and awareness of the cultural value of artistic research.

After the first exhibition in Berlin, at the Pavillon am Milchhof, this second appointment includes a wide selection of spaces and artist3 from both cities. The choice of the3 artist3 and works on display, in dialogue with each space, has been defined to highlight the characteristics of each project. The sum of all the works is the manifestation of identities within the same container space.

THE WORKROOM VAPORE, during the month of August, at the invitation of Viafarini the artistic residency promoted by Muovimi at the Fabbrica del Vapore, activated in the same spaces of the Ex Cisterne the call Passaggi Artistici (Artistic Passages), which saw the participation of 13 performers engaged in research related to movement. Underlying the project and the collaborations set up is the desire to have a multidisciplinary artistic incubator in Milan as well, to support artists and artistic groups.
